Our promise: We work carefully, communicate clearly and aim for the best suitable result for your property. These terms explain the agreed service, how we care for your property and what to do if something needs attention. Your Australian Consumer Law rights remain protected.
1. Your Quote and Agreed Service
Your service: These terms cover roof cleaning, soft washing, pressure washing, house washing, gutter and solar-panel cleaning, roof painting, and concrete/paver sealing, as included in your quote. Only the quoted areas, treatments and inclusions form part of the service.
Acceptance: For work not requiring a separate building contract, accepting a quote by reply or other clear confirmation after these terms have been provided or linked means you agree to the quoted scope, price and that version of these terms. We retain the accepted quote and applicable terms. Agreed written job-specific conditions take priority over these general terms.
Building work: Where Queensland law requires a building contract, the booking must be documented and accepted through a compliant signed contract. These terms supplement it where incorporated, and that contract governs any inconsistency. Statutory building warranties and other mandatory requirements remain unaffected.
2. Preparing for a Smooth Visit
Authority and access: Please ensure you are authorised to book the work and arrange necessary owner or body corporate approvals. Provide the agreed safe access, parking, working outdoor tap and any agreed power supply. We arrange the access equipment and safety measures needed for our work.
Getting ready: Move vehicles, furniture, washing, pots and other items we identify before the visit. Close windows and doors, and keep children, pets and visitors clear of work areas. Tell us if you need help with preparation so we can agree arrangements.
Known concerns: Tell us about known or suspected leaks, fragile materials, loose roofing, failing coatings, previous repairs, asbestos, lead-based paint, electrical faults and other relevant hazards. You are not being asked to guarantee that hidden parts of the property are defect-free.
Unattended access: If you provide keys or access codes, we use them for the agreed service and take reasonable care to secure the property when leaving.
3. Caring for Your Property
Checks and photographs: We visually check safely accessible work areas, record relevant condition photographs and use test areas where appropriate. This is a service assessment, not a structural survey, specialist leak investigation or electrical inspection.
Chemicals and overspray: Some treatments and paint or sealer mist can harm plants or mark sensitive finishes if exposed. We select suitable products, follow relevant product instructions and take reasonable precautions around gardens, ponds, vehicles, belongings and adjoining property. We adjust or pause work if spray drift cannot be adequately controlled. Product safety information is available on request.
Water and electrical fittings: We control water pressure and direction and protect vulnerable openings and fittings. Existing gaps or failed seals can allow water ingress and may require attention before washing. Unsafe electrical equipment requires assessment or repair before affected work continues; electrical repairs are outside our cleaning service.
Runoff and tanks: Please identify rainwater-tank connections, sensitive drainage areas and irrigation systems. We agree any necessary isolation, diversion and reconnection arrangements before work and manage wash water, chemicals and debris lawfully. Access to neighbouring property requires the relevant owner’s permission.
4. Achieving the Best Cleaning Result
The right method: Soft washing uses suitable cleaning treatment applied at low pressure, with rinsing where appropriate. Pressure washing cleans mechanically with pressurised water. Reduced-pressure use of a surface cleaner remains pressure cleaning; it is not automatically soft washing. We select suitable methods for the surface and its condition and explain any material change to the quoted approach.
Realistic results: Deep oil, rust and mineral stains, efflorescence, etching, fading and oxidation may remain or become more visible once dirt is removed. We explain significant limitations we identify. Specialist stain treatment, paver re-sanding and restoration are included only when quoted.
A longer-lasting clean: Where included, treatment targets organic growth to help surfaces stay cleaner for longer. Regrowth depends on moisture, shade, weather, vegetation and surface condition. These terms do not promise a fixed algae-free period.
5. Older Roofs and Deteriorating Surfaces
Existing condition: Weathering can leave roofs and other surfaces oxidised or chalky, paint and coatings poorly bonded, and tiles, sheets, mortar, skylights, seals or fittings brittle. Suitable cleaning performed with reasonable care and skill may reveal these conditions, expose existing leaks or hidden defects, or release material that was already loose or unsound.
Clear responsibility: Those outcomes do not, by themselves, mean the cleaning was defective. Cleaning does not restore worn coatings or make a defective roof watertight. Repairs, repainting and restoration are outside cleaning-only work unless quoted. We remain responsible for loss caused by our failure to use reasonable care and skill or meet other applicable consumer guarantees.
Pause and discuss: If unexpected peeling, leakage, instability or another significant concern appears, we pause the affected work, document the issue and discuss suitable options. We will not continue with a method we reasonably consider unsuitable. Any chargeable change requires your approval before proceeding.
6. Roof Painting and Concrete/Paver Sealing
Preparation and suitability: Your quote identifies the system, finish, preparation and repairs included. We assess the surface and existing coatings for compatibility, adhesion and moisture where relevant. Normal preparation needed for the agreed system is included; genuinely unforeseen additional restoration requires an agreed variation. Unsuitable underlying conditions must be addressed before coating.
Finish and limitations: Surface texture, porosity and existing colour can affect the finished appearance. Samples help agree the intended result, but approval of a sample does not waive proper preparation or application. Standard painting and sealing do not repair structural movement or underlying waterproofing defects, or guarantee that existing cracks, salts or moisture problems will not recur.
Drying and cure: We provide written instructions suited to the product and conditions, including rain and irrigation protection, foot and vehicle access, and cleaning restrictions. Please follow the stated drying and full-cure periods; they are not the same for every product or job.
Slip awareness: Wet, freshly cleaned and coated surfaces can be slippery, including after a coating has cured. We select the system with the agreed use in mind and discuss relevant slip risks, particularly on slopes, steps and pool surrounds. Keep people, pets and vehicles out until the advised access time and leave safety barriers in place as instructed.
7. Roofs, Gutters and Solar Panels
Roofs: Cleaning does not include repointing, replacing tiles or fixings, or repairing roof accessories unless quoted. Fragile areas may require another access method, repair or exclusion from the work, which we will discuss with you.
Gutters and downpipes: Debris removal and flow checks are as quoted. Cleaning may reveal leaks or hidden blockages and does not correct damaged gutters, inadequate falls or drainage capacity. Underground drain clearing, repairs and gutter-guard removal/refitting are included only when quoted.
Solar panels: Our service is panel-surface cleaning using methods suited to the manufacturer’s guidance. It does not include electrical testing, repairs or a guaranteed increase in electricity output. We do not disturb cabling or mounts. Observed damage or unsafe components must be assessed and, where required, repaired by a licensed electrician before cleaning continues.
Hazardous materials: We pause affected work if asbestos, hazardous lead coatings or another unsafe material is suspected. We do not pressure-clean asbestos-containing materials. Specialist testing, removal and remediation are outside our standard services.
8. Changes, Weather and Bookings
Agreed changes: We explain and obtain written approval for changes to scope, price or timing before additional work. Email or SMS is suitable for ordinary cleaning variations; regulated building variations must meet their additional legal requirements. Our quote includes ordinary safety and environmental measures reasonably required for the stated scope and conditions known when quoted.
Weather and safety: Rain, wind, heat or unsafe site conditions may require a pause or rescheduling. We tell you promptly and arrange a suitable alternative. If we cannot provide the unperformed service within a reasonable time, you may cancel that portion and receive a refund for it.
Cancellations and access delays: Please give at least 48 hours’ notice when possible. Any cancellation or wasted-attendance charge is limited to reasonable unrecoverable loss caused by the cancellation or failure to provide agreed access or preparation. We take reasonable steps to minimise that loss, account for saved costs and replacement bookings, explain any charge and refund the remaining prepayment. Any standby or call-out rate must be disclosed before acceptance. There is no automatic deposit forfeiture, and this clause does not charge you for exercising a statutory cancellation right or for our breach.
Ending the agreement: Either party may end the agreement for a material breach not remedied within a reasonable period after written notice. Immediate termination and refund rights under applicable law remain available. We account fairly for work properly completed and any amounts lawfully due; the applicable building contract governs regulated work.
9. Clear Pricing and Payment
Price: Quotes are in Australian dollars and show the total payable, including GST where applicable and known unavoidable charges. Quotes remain open for 30 days unless stated otherwise. Price changes require an agreed variation.
Deposit: Any booking deposit is stated in your quote. Deposits and progress payments for regulated domestic building work must comply with the applicable legal limits and building contract.
Balance: Unless your quote or building contract states otherwise, the balance is due within 7 days of our invoice following completion. The customer identified in the quote is responsible for payment; reimbursement by an insurer, tenant or another third party is a separate arrangement.
Questions and overdue amounts: Please raise invoice concerns promptly and pay undisputed amounts by the due date. We contact you about overdue amounts and may use lawful debt-recovery processes. Any recovery costs sought must be reasonable and legally recoverable. Genuine disputes and your statutory remedies remain unaffected.
10. Aftercare, Concerns and Records
Let us know: Contact us promptly about a concern or suspected damage, with photographs if safe and practical. Please give us a reasonable opportunity to assess and address the issue where appropriate. You may take reasonable urgent steps to prevent further loss; this process does not restrict your statutory remedies or access to Fair Trading, QBCC, QCAT or a court with jurisdiction.
Missed-area touch-up: If an area included in your agreed cleaning scope was missed at completion and you report it within 7 days of completion, we will arrange a free touch-up of that area within a reasonable time. Safe access and suitable weather are required. This promise covers missed cleaning, not new soiling, later regrowth, unquoted areas or permanent staining or deterioration explained before work.
Making a claim: Contact Titan Cleaning Co, ABN 72 955 240 789, at info@titancleaning.com.au or 0413 869 692. Give your service date, property details and the area of concern. We assess the concern and arrange any covered touch-up with you. Photographs help but are not an absolute condition of a claim.
Warranty business address: [INSERT A GENUINE BUSINESS ADDRESS BEFORE PUBLICATION. DO NOT PUBLISH THIS PLACEHOLDER.]
Claim costs: We cover our assessment and any covered touch-up, including labour, materials and return travel. We reimburse reasonable expenses you incur making a valid claim. Send us details and receipts to request reimbursement.
Your rights and existing promises: This touch-up promise is additional to your legal rights. The 7-day period does not limit Australian Consumer Law rights or other valid claims about our work. Earlier accepted bookings retain their agreed terms and promises, including any previously agreed regrowth guarantee.
Consumer guarantees: services only
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the service, you are entitled:
to cancel your service contract with us; and
to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value.
You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. If the failure does not amount to a major failure you are entitled to have problems with the service rectified in a reasonable time and, if this is not done, to cancel your contract and obtain a refund for the unused portion of the contract.

Photographs and your information
Photographs: We take relevant work-area photographs for condition records, quality checks and training. Unless you opt out in writing before work starts, we may also use work-area images in our portfolio and marketing. We avoid identifiable people, addresses, number plates and personal details in marketing images. Opting out of marketing does not prevent necessary service documentation.
Your information: We use your contact and property details to arrange and deliver services, communicate with you, invoice and keep relevant records. We do not send promotional emails or texts.
General: Queensland law applies. If we use subcontractors, Titan remains responsible for delivering the agreed service. Changes to an accepted agreement require agreement in writing; updating this webpage does not retrospectively change an existing booking. An invalid provision does not affect the remaining terms where they can continue lawfully.
